2006 G-Class

When Mercedes created the G-Class model it was a vehicle designed for hard core people who would drive it on off-road excursions. This explains to us why its biggest competitors are the Hummer H1 and the Land Rover Range Rover. The G-Class was built in Graz, Austria.

Even though this vehicle is built for off-road it was still given a classy and somewhat softened looking body. The G-Class comes in at 185.6 inches long on a 112.2 inch wheelbase making it 3 inches shorter then the 2006 M-Class. The G-Class was equipped with rigid front and rear axles and three locking differntials.

The inside is graced with leather interior and walnut/maple wood trim. It comes equipped with the standard equipment including, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, navigation system. It was also equipped with the Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid system, which offers the driver with emergency and theft-tracking services.

When you drive in the G-Class you will be able to experience something unique. It may be small compared to the H1, but it will make you feel larger then life. This SUV’s is defiantly trucklike, and it emits a slight degree of sluggishness and plenty of sound when accelerating. Not only does the G500 look ready to tackle the most demanding terrain, but it also feels ready.
