It seems that Mercedes has something cooking that not many people have been able to see. The SLC Super Coupe is coming to dealerships everywhere and as always someone was able to catch a glimpse on what it might look like.

Someone was able to catch a glimpse of an early development mule out testing, and word is that the car will likely get its grunt from a front-mounted 6.2-liter V8 provided by AMG. In natural guise it would put out 500 bhp, but with a few blowers that could easily be “remedied” to 700 or so.

Mercedes decided that it was time for the CLK-Class coupes and convertibles to be given a makeover the the 2006 model year. Probably the biggest improvement that was made was the larger and more powerful bas six-cylinder engine. Unfortunately for Mercedes the CLK has never been known for its reliablity. It may be a great vehicle to show off, but that means little to consumers.
