Many people were disappointed with the look and the design of Mercedes new GLK compact SUV. They thought that the SUV was slightly smaller than what they were hoping for. Those who didn’t get to see it in January at the Detroit Auto Show will get their chance to see it in Geneva – though it will be a slightly different concept.

Mercedes top tuner – Lorinser has decided to show off their new Nardo3 concept at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show. Obviously we can expect to see other designs and cars from them – but this is the one that we are all looking forward to. The sleek design of the vehicle mixed with the history of the name reels us in to find out as much as we can about it.

Mercedes has finally realized why consumers have decided not to buy their new A- and B-Class models. It seems that consumers are trying to buy a car that doesn’t require a huge down payment and payments every month and one that offers enough power to match the look of the vehicle. It seems that it lacks in all three of these areas.

Mercedes-Benz wants to celebrate their ability to make great cars and distribute them to willing Americans all across the country. In order to celebrate properly they are first trying to determine what the birthday of Mercedes is. Many believe that the true birthday falls on 1886 – which was the day that Karl Benz applied for his “vehicle with gas engine operation” patent.

Mercedes is happy to see that Kim Cattrall – who plays Samantha in “Sex and the City” has chosen their GLK Freeside concept as her vehicle of choice for the new movie arriving May 30th. Obviously Mercedes took advantage of this and had her introduce the new concept.

We have heard talk of the new Mercedes 2009 GLK and for the longest time we were told that the first time we would catch a glimpse of it was during the new ‘Sex and the City’ movie and during the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. However, it seems that the usual spy photographers were ready to start shooting the much expected vehicle after it was brought out for an early screen shot.

Mercedes is taking the competition head on with their new CLC Sport Coupe. At least that is their goal. Spy shots were taken of the new coupe during its test run on the streets and most of us are wondering if it will be as great as Mercedes is boasting.

eBay is home to some famous possessions – which is why we aren’t surprised to see Lindsay Lohan’s old 2005 Mercedes SL-Class up for grabs. This seems to be a popular item for people with the bidding starting at $110,000.
This the car that Lindsay took with her and used to ram every paparazzi that got in her way. Of course if you want this car you have to get all the damage that comes with it.

Mercedes-Benz is one of the few automakers who looks to combine a smooth ride with environmental friendliness and great performance and are using their F700 research car as a base for this. The 5.17m-long F700 is the world’s first car that can anticipate and recognise the condition of the road and level out the uneven spots with an active Pre-Scan suspension. Pre-Scan uses two laser sensors in the front headlamp units as “eyes”.

Mercedes-Benz has created a most unsual new car, which they dubbed the Carlsson Aigner CK65 “Eau Rouge”. The two names give us a hint into who worked together with Mercedes to create this elegant looking vehicle. Mercedes tuning specialists Carlsson have joined forces with inter-national leather-lifestyle brand Etienne Aigner to develop the Carlsson Aigner CK65 “Eau Rouge”. Made in an exclusive small series, the luxury coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CL produces over 700 bhp and 1,100 Nm after being breathed on by Carlsson.
