Mercedes-Benz is preparing for the big launch of the E-Class. According to many of the spy photos that have been splashed all across the internet the new prototype has been given a new front fascia and is definitely an M-B.
The car itself is made out of the W212 mid-size sedan platform - which utilizes the four-link front suspension and mutli-link rear arrangement instead of the conventional electronic braking system. The multi-link rear arrangement is coulpled with the M-B’s Active Body Control (ABC) system.
As is to be expected there will be many new gadget features that it didn’t have before. A few of these features are night-vision and en electronic road sign reading system. Consumers will also love what lies beneath the hood - the 6.2 liter V8 engine from AMG.
The new car will be debuted at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in the summer of 2009.
